On Saturday, August 22, the Cultural Mill in Budry was filled with music, art, and the warmth of human connection.
We began the evening with a concert by Martyna Noga, which created a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and was a wonderful introduction to the rest of the event.
This was followed by the opening of the exhibition Signs of Thought by Lithuanian artist Lolita Rūgytė, organized as part of our collaboration with the Zanavykai Museum in Lithuania.
The event was an opportunity not only to see her works, but above all to discover the world from which they emerge. Lolita’s paintings are created intuitively and draw inspiration from nature, people, inner experiences, and places that are slowly disappearing—old, abandoned, and forgotten buildings. Her work moves between Romantic Realism and abstract symbolism.
It was an evening filled with attentiveness, conversation, questions, and the simple joy of coming together. We would like to thank everyone who joined us and helped create this special atmosphere.
Thank you to Martyna Noga for the music, to Lolita Rūgytė for sharing her artistic work, and to all our guests for being there.
Evenings like this remind us that the Cultural Mill is not just a place, but above all a space for connection—for art, music, people, and history.
